Writers, Writers Everywhere...

Greetings friends. I can hardly believe the summer is nearly over. I know many of you are diehard fans of heat and humidity and will mourn its loss, while I eagerly await the arrival of my beloved autumn. However, it hasn't held me down, with several book signings taking place, most recently at the beautiful Tea & Tarot in Clinton. Here is a photo Joanne took while we rested between guests, stopping by to check out our books, and old friends came from near and far. These events always surprise us in different ways. and this one was no exception. Folks who want to write and feel stuck stopped by to talk with us about the challenges of writing and publishing. Tea & Tarot's new boutique on East Main St, Clinton, is something special, so take a visit when you're in the area. Tell Heather I sent you.

We have a break for a week or so, and then we'll be at the Groton Public Library on August 26th, for a chat about our writing process, the importance that the right support can play, and how our books came together. Hope you can join us for this community event.

Cafe Sol will host our little group on Labor Day weekend, and we are looking forward to that book signing opportunity. The place should be jamming, so come early to get your book signed or just stop by to say hello and get something to eat or drink. We love hearing stories about your favorite parts, especially the ones that kept you reading into the wee hours of the night. Hillary's and Joanne's latest books will be available, as well as my Synchronicity- Two Hearts, One Spirit, a Forbidden Love.

Recently, a dear reader wrote to me about my precious creation...

"We received your Synchronicity, and I have read the first three Chapters. I am hooked! And I loved the sentence that ended Chapter Two: "After all, I have to return his clothes."  What a sizzling tale from the start.  More awaits this fascinated reader." L.T.

These are the kind words that keep me believing in the beauty and power of the written word. And the ways that a good book can transport us. I'm still waiting for those autumn days, and hope to see you soon.

Love & Blessings,

Patty

These books and Joanne's latest, The Invincibles, will be available at our events and on Amazon.

This site is simply a place to learn about what I'm up to, get a glimpse of something special through a blog post or photo, find some resources for writing and creativity, or maybe even some inspiration from the latest newsletter.  It's a pause to celebrate the writing life, contemplative spirituality, expressive arts, and simple living. Those are my  passions.
