As a freelance writer I have written for local, regional and national publications and am available to write for yours. As a reporter I have covered local news as well as having strengths in feature writing. Articles on just about any area of human interest, business, the arts, etc. can be completed to your editorial guidelines. Columnist

As a weekly columnist for four years, I regularly and continuously found something to say for my column Around the Town, published weekly in The Mystic River Press. I wrote from a literary viewpoint about my adventures living within one of Connecticut's most beautiful seaside villages, Mystic. These columns are available as re-prints or we can create something new for your publication.

Expressive Arts Facilitator – Connecting Spirituality & the Arts

With a strong belief in the healing power of the arts, I create programs focusing on the close relationship between spirituality and creativity. These programs may include painting, writing, photography or other multi modal expressive arts, combined with meditation and reflection. Feel free to inquire about this a one on one or small group experience.

Spiritual Director

I am a Certified Spiritual Director and trained in the Spiritual Direction Internship Program at Mercy Center in Madison, Connecticut. Spiritual Direction is a conversation aimed at deepening your spiritual awareness and relationship with God, or your higher power. Spiritual Direction helps the person who is seeking a deeper relationship with God to notice the presence of God in the various events, relationships and structures of one's life. It invites persons to develop a contemplative attitude in their life. The director, as a companion, listens attentively to the spiritual life and journey of the directee. The relationship of spiritual direction is sacred, safe and strictly confidential. I have a private practice where people from all faith traditions come to explore their spiritual journeys. Sessions are by appointment in Groton and online.
