Still looking for the perfect gift?

Greetings friends. Wishing you a fabulous, spirit-filled Merry Christmas. I don't know about you, but I'm still putting the finishing touches on my Christmas shopping. My writer friends and I just finished our last scheduled book signing at the amazing Velvet Mill in Stonington. What an extraordinary place. Shops, restaurants, artist studios, pop-up vendors, music...literally something for everyone. And there we were, smack in the middle of it all, chatting with folks about our books and the writing life. We love the questions. What fun!

We hope to go back in the new year. That's me in my requisite sparkly Christmas shirt, the only Christmas shirt I own. I need to work on that, but it does glitter and sparkle quite nicely.

And the other bright star is my writing buddy, the very enthusiastic Hillary Oat, who is nearly done writing her third book in the awesome cozy romance series about the Ogilvie clan. Sure to be published in 2026.

My friend Joanne Moore completes our trio of writers and couldn't be with us at the Velvet Mill, but had taken on a pretty big task representing us at the North Madison Congregational Church Holiday Artisan Fair. (I know, that's a mouthful). She did an amazing job. And her latest book has just become available on Amazon. It's called New Home, New Friends and is a children's book written by two of her grandchildren Lucy and Beatrix, and was edited by Joanne. This intergenerational book is an inspiration for hope in times of change, and is illustrated by Connecticut artist Dawn E. Brindle.
