The travels of Synchronicity

Synchronicity is indeed getting around these days. We've been to Cape Cod, Old Saybrook, and took a boat ride (with Synchronicity of course) around the Thimble Islands in Stony Creek. It was kind of magical. That center photo is the fog we were riding around in, which reminded me of my favorite artist, at The Nines Gallery on Cape Cod. Lauren DiFerdinando. Her work renders me speechless, which Jim might tell you is no easy feat. Check out her website and be awed...
I met with friends for coffee, and informal book signings ( I carry my special book signing pen wherever I go), and have exciting new events scheduled.

More than that, our little group continues to meet regularly to support each other as we write and publish our next creations. Hillary's second novel in the Ogilvie series, Thomas' Second Chance, is available now on Amazon. Joanne's novel The Invincibles will be available any day now.
My niece Heather is hosting us at her amazing new expanded shop, Tea & Tarot in Clinton on August 10th for a book signing and chat. Stop by and say hello, and check out her amazing new shop filled with fabulous tea, items for the spirit, events, and services. Click on our picture to read more about it on her website. We also have events coming up in Niantic and Groton so stay tuned for more on those. Follow us on Facebook to see more posts.

Speaking of the spirit, I loved this image of the Blessed Mother I took recently after coming out of church in Mystic. I was coming out of church, and she's always there. It was so pretty, I thought I'd share it with you. The spirit has also compelled me to design some buttons related to my disability. I often wear a button pinned onto my shirt that reads some version of "Please be patient, I'm hearing impaired." And I've lost count of how many times people would see my button and tell me they need one of those too. But it's not like you can find them at Walmart.
One time my friends and I were in a diner in Rhode Island, and I had my button on as I often do when I'm in public, and our waitress was talking very loudly. I wasn't even sure why, but then the waitress on the other side of the place yelled to her, asking, "Why are you shouting?" And our waitress responded, "She's wearing a button!" The whole place was abuzz as I continued to wonder what was going on. Eventually, I caught up. They were talking about me. Who knew? It was both kind and comical all at once.
Anyway, I felt called to make some available to people who might also benefit from wearing one. We could create a whole trend of button-wearing, hearing-impaired people. I designed several, but for economy's sake, just made up a handful of one design for now. This is what the pin-back button looks like. (Not the actual size. It's 2 1/8")

If you know of anyone who might find one useful, zip me an email for details to order one. They will be available right next to Synchronicity at our book signings as well.
Synchronicity-Two Hearts, One Spirit, a Forbidden Love is available on Amazon or reach out to me to order a signed copy.
Until next time... Be well and keep writing.
