I am super excited to have some amazingly talented and accomplished authors joining us for the upcoming Creating A Writing Life Retreats for Emerging Writers. I have been presenting these retreats along the CT shoreline since 2007 (with a break for Covid), and I'm thrilled that they will be offered this year at the new Seastar Wellness Studio, located on Main St. in Old Saybrook. Just a short hop to the beach, across the street from the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, and near all kinds of quaint shops and restaurants. Just in case you're thinking of making a weekend of it.
I'll keep you busy all day Saturday though as the retreats run from 9:30-3:30 with nourishment for the body, mind, and creative spirit. Inspiration will abound as we share our experiences and ideas about the writing life and the path it takes to get there. We will savor the personal journeys and wisdom of our guest speakers and leave refreshed, regenerated (like the seastar), and renewed. I can't wait to see you there.
