Journey of a Poet through Dementia (Free will offering)

Join author and poet Matthew Borrelli as he shares his journey into caregiving for his wife and muse, who was diagnosed with Dementia some years ago. He found writing as a healing outlet to process feelings and experiences he’d never had before. As a teacher and administrator, who grew up in Brooklyn, NY, he is now retired and sharing his message to help others navigate their own unique situation of caring for loved ones. Caregivers of all kinds will find this presentation useful and his book will be available for purchase. Light refreshments will be served.
